Aleander Santos | Editor-in-Chief

Aleander Santos is the editor-in-chief of REFRACT. Aleander is an undergrad student at Baruch College, studying both political science and journalism (specialization in creative writing). Aleander enjoys studying political theory, receiving prints of literary magazines in the mail, reading short stories (especially flash fiction), and watching professional wrestling. An avid melophile, Aleander enjoys listening to the Grateful Dead, music from the Greenwich Village folk scene of the 60s, and—if in the right mood—punk rock. After Baruch, Aleander plans on applying to a fully paid MFA program where he aims to study creative writing.

After Baruch, she plans on attending law school somewhere far, far away from New York City.

Mia Euceda | Editorial Board

Mia Euceda is a content and copy editor at REFRACT. They are a journalism major and music minor at Baruch College. In their spare time, Mia is always in search of the next cumbia DJ set, mind-blowing art exhibition, and a bite of Ethiopian food. Camilo Mason | Editorial Board

Camilo Mason is a student at Baruch College studying for a business degree in computer information systems and minoring in mathematics. He's always been a sucker for data and statistics, but in his free time, he loves to cook and watch baseball with his girlfriend. He joined REFRACT's editorial board to catch a break from the torrent of numbers and memorization that compose his degree. After Baruch, Camilo has no immediate plans to leave the city he was born in, where he hopes to find a job in analytics.

Skylar Cronick | Editorial Board

Skylar enjoys critical thinking games, casually scrolling on TikTok, research-based writing, and watching mysterious or thrilling movies. After Baruch, Skylar hopes to work in either writing or politics and publish her own book one day.

Stephanie Cruz-Lopez | Editorial Board
